I am now in my 51st year of living as a vegan. Never have I regretted it.

The CHOICES WE MAKE at the table ripple far beyond our plates. By choosing plants, we fight for cleaner air, thriving wildlife and equitable food access-for all of us.

It is worthwhile being conscious and may not seem like a needle is moving considering all the global issues, as you illustrated, however the vegan movement has started somewhere/somehow. It takes few to be woken up and courageous to reveal the truth. On the contrary can we allow ourselves to believe and become curious about: What if enough individuals discover that they can sustain themselves being vegan, then it tricles down a domino effect. When the fear-mongering about protein 'lack' or 'need' of it deflates people will be less obsessed to think that they need animal flesh for consumption. It is addictive from what I observed as a holsitic nutritionist. However dismantling the belief and fear is usually the first step until addiction submerges. How are your observations on this what makes people hungry to want to kill?
